John Brokoff was sculptor and carner from german's family, who went to Prague in 1692. He employed his two sons Michael and Ferdinand Maxmilián.
He was born 23 of June 1652. He lived in Prague and then in Červený Hrádek (Red castle) in 1687-1688. Ferdinand Maxmilián was born in Červený Hrádek.
He works are: two fountains in Červený Hrádek, water-shoot in the garden, sculptures Ulyx and Polyfén near the fountain, sculptures Marta and Lédy with swan which are near district museum Chomutov.
The most famous work of Maxmilián Brokoff is sculpture at Hradčanské square in Prague (1726) and sculptures at Krzesbor (1728).
