Dean's church St. Giles

Jirkov had 4 church (lych church St. Ann, evangelical church, Jew's synagogue, dean's church St. Giles) in the beginning of the 20th century. Ann's chaple (1696) staid before the basic art school, it was demolished in 1966. The evangelical church was demolished in 1980, today stay dean's church only.

This church stay on the place, where staid gothic defensive church (1300). It was built on the lined bank in the river Běla. It was rebuilt in 1568. Červenohrádecká chaple was annex in 1748 and chapel of St. John Nepomucký in 1748. The church is single-aisle, it has massive hall and three-floor tower. The church is open for the people (devotions and nuptials).
